Yip, you heard right. I am very seriously considering leaving deviantart. Here is the REAL story and not bullcrap rumors.

So, on Monday when I was sick and I missed school, I was screwing around and asking random people to join me in my art contest. so I go to dumdums page (thats not her real name, and I will not be using real DA names, because I dont want to cause more 'unnecessary drama', and you will find out why this is so funny later.) I ask her to join my art contest, and I told her I liked her art, and I hope she would like mine too. As you all know, I am VERY good at realism, such as that Aslan picture, and the Silver Wolf picture. Over the past summer, my friend Sin had given me a free place to download a free art program called GIMP. I had worked with the tools all summer, experimented, ECT., and I finally got better at doing animals. Unfortunately, for my animals to look...well, more realistic, I have to use references.

Almost every single artist uses references. So, about five minutes later, I see dumdums has reported a jornal. And I was bored out of my mind, so I clicked to it, and the jornal read "Do these look familiar?" And she called me an art thief, because I was stealing other peoples work. I wrote her a polite message, explaining, "no, I did not steal these. You are welcome to look through my gallery to see that I am a talented artist, so why would I steal when I can draw great on my own?" She did not reply, but kept that message up there. (and by the way, she had ALL of my gimp art on her journal, which is illegal on deviantart if you see the rules) And I wait for my friend Sin to get on. She gets on.

And she writes her a polite message as well saying "she is a nice girl, if you look through her gallery she is a very talented artist. If you also look on my deviantion (she gave her the link) she showed me how to use various tools on GIMP. see?" She still does not belive me and Sin. She keeps up that jornal, and marks me, Sin, and about 5 other people who are standing up for me our comments as 'spam' because she likes to start drama. SO, we mark her stupid journal as harrasment or something like that, I cant really remember, and I dont really care. and then Wolfpawboy, starts flaming up my artwork, as well as intotheblack. (I am reminding you, I am not using real DA names that happened )

And I eventually had to block them becuase they would not stop leaving nasty comments on my page. And then the rest of that day, I got off because Sin thought it would be best, and told me it would die down later tomorrow (which was yesterday) It didn't. This stupid chick, batcat, says I am just smuding over photography...and I am like 'what the hell are you talking about?' So, I find another jornal by dumdums, saying that I now am smuding photography, and calling it my own, which she calls is 'art thieving.' Even if I DID smudge the photography, it just meant that I put it under the wrong stuff, it means I should have put it under 'hotomanipulation' on deviantart, which is not illegal So if you know, if people decide to be spiteful and mean, they can gang up on you and report that art stolen, and if you get enough people to do it, DA doesn't care, and deletes it anyways if enough people had reported it as stolen. But I did NOT smudge photography, I used references, and unfortunately, I am still new to digital art and did not realize I had to post up where I used the original reference, because I did not know all the rules, which was my bad. totally .

So, dumdums lies to everyone and says 'oh yeah! I TOTALLY warned her to put up the original citation of the photo.' bullcrap. I am so disgusted by her. And it takes ALOT for me to get disgusted with someone. I am disgusted. I have a thought that maybe she was just jealous and immature, and didn't realize how bad this was going to get for me, but I dont care, that hurts. I have never stolen in my life. Ever. It is totally against my religion. I have also heard from foxenmint that she does this to get page views. what a load of bull crap, and she keeps getting away with it too, which is another reason why I am VERY seriously considering leaving.

I dont need deviantart drama when I already have that at home with my mother being terminally ill and all. And then (oh yes, it gets even better!) my friend Sin had posted up a jornal telling all of her DA friends what was happening (and only used my da account icon, which I gave her full permission of) and she did not break any rules of any sort for journaling, and wolfpawboy decides to report her for 'making drama' HA. How ironic is THAT?! I mean seriously, what a flipping hypocrite. So yeah, I am pretty mad this happened, but maybe its for the best and time to move on to a better art site that someone else had mentioned called 'storm artists' or something. Well, right now I am 95 % sure, I am leaving DA.

If anyone flames this jornal, I WILL report you.
